Day 1         USA – Bangkok

Check in for your transpacific flight to Thailand - the magnificent "Land of  Smiles." Our destination is Bangkok, its capital city 

Day 2         Arrive Bangkok

Arrive at Bangkok's new airport (Suvannaphumi). You are met and  transferred to your accommodations. The rest of the day is free at leisure.  

Day 3         Host Home

Depart Bangkok for the Ta Chin River and enjoy a walk through a lively fresh-food market. Then head upriver on a local boat, and transfer to a van for the ride to Ampawa for lunch. Your journey continues on a longtail boat ride past wooden houses built over the water on stilts and stretches of coconut and fruit plantations. Arrive at your host’s home and spend the night in traditional Thai style in a quaint natural setting. (B,L,D) 

Day 4         Ampawa Villagers – Tha Kha Floating Market or Damnoen Saduak

Join Ampawa villages early in the morning as they await the arrival of monks rowing boats and offer them food. You’ll then share a typical Thai breakfast with your hosts before heading out on a boat to the Tha Kha Floating market or Damnoen Saduak. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to hotel. Day 5         Don Chedi Historical Park – Thai Temple – Buffalo Village

This newly created full day tour brings you to a province of Thailand, which is still untouched by mass tourism: Suphanburi, 110-km northwest of Bangkok. Stop at Don Chedi historical park, one of the most famous ancient battle sites and war memorials, and visit of a rice mill. Continue to Wat Ban Klang to observe a typical floating market on the Suphanburi River. Take a 30 minutes boat trip to one of the largest and most beautiful teakwood houses in Thailand. Afterwards, visit Suphanburi Buffalo Village, then return to your hotel in the evening. (B/L) 

Day 6         Bangkok – USA

Unless you’re extending your stay in Thailand, sometime today, you’ll depart Bangkok back to USA. (B)
