Day 2 Grand Palace – Emerald Buddha Temple – Jim Thompson House – Diner Cruise (B/L/D)

Morning visit Grand Palace, one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. Here you will see many palaces which have been used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and Wat Phra Keo, the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple.

Afternoon, Visit to Jim Thompson House, the home of James H.W. Thompson, a self-made American entrepreneur who was the founder of the world renowned Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. Thompson’s achievements during his 25 year stay in the Kingdom of Thailand have won him much fame as the “Legendary American of Thailand”. Since his disappearance in 1967, little has changed in the home that was the ‘talk of the town’ and the ‘city’s most celebrated social center’. Even today, this Thai style house which contains intensive collection of art and antique objects continues to be a key stop for visitors to Bangkok.

Day 03 Bangkok – Ampawa (B/L/D) Morning we will visit one of the most charming city, Ampawa. The trip will definitely be a fascinating experience. Drive from hotel to Samut Sakhon. Visit Ban Phinsuwan Benjarong to see how to handmade traditional “Benjarong” ceramics and porcelain, The Benjarong is a traditional form of Thai porcelain. The style of multi-colored enamels on a white porcelain base came from Ming dynasty China. The name “Benjarong” was derived from Bali and Sanskrit, meaning literally “Five Colors”. “Five Colors” really means “many colors” because the hand-painted pieces are usually decorated in three, five, eight colors, or even more.

After lunch, visit Bangkung Temple, one of unseen Thailand . The temple has been covered by big Pipal tree called Bot Prok Po. There’s a big Buddha image enshrined inside the chapel. The temple is in the compound of Khai Bang Kung, a famous old Naval Forces Camp in Thai history, dating back to late Ayutthaya period. The Camp was left deserted for almost 200 years and then established as a Boy Scout camp again there to honour of King Taksin and built the statue of the king to commemorate his historic deeds.

Day 4 Damnoensaduak floating Market – Chiang Mai (B) After breakfast, ride a boat to Damnoensaduak Floating Market. On the way, you can see Thai style house along a canal, stop at a palm sugar plant then continue to Damnoensaduak Floating Market, and you have a free time to shopping.

Day 5 Doi Suthep – Orchid Farm – Handicraft Village – Khan Tok dinner (B/L/D) After breakfast, drive uphills to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, tucked away in the mountains at an elevation of 3,280 feet (1,056 meters). It is certainly one of the most important temples in Chiang Mai, as well as one of the most revered among Thai Buddhists and a major pilgrimage destination during Buddhist holidays. To reach the temple itself requires a climb up a Naga staircase of 290 steps. Lunch at locan restaurant and then visit Orchid Farm and handicraft village. Day 6 Mae Saa Elephant Camp and Hilltribes Village of Tong Luang (B/L/D) Moring make a short drive brings you to the Mae Sa Elephant Camp, situated on the banks of a small river. Here you will have the chance to watch these amazing creatures take their daily bath and then witness the traditional training techniques still used today. Marvel at the amazing skills before joining an adventurous elephant trek through the lush jungle and over hilly trails to a nearby Eco-Agricultural Hill Tribes Village called Baan Tong Luang. Day 7 Depart from Chiang Mai (B) Time will be at leisure until check out. Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your next destination.
